We had lots of fun shooting the ad with Mallinson Television Productions and even have some exciting behind the scenes shots to share – see below! 😊 Can you guess where the TV ad was filmed?

That’s right, it was filmed in Kelvingrove skatepark in Glasgow’s trendy West End. Other famous films/series shot in Kelvingrove include Outlander, God Help the Girl, Still Game and The Replacement. You can even see the iconic University of Glasgow in the background.

We started shooting at 6.30am (armed with some hearty morning rolls and hot coffee to keep us going) while the park was quiet and our skateboarder Kashif and roller-skater Alicia had the place to themselves. With plenty of Macb to keep us hydrated we shot all day to ensure we got plenty of top-quality footage to use for the 30 second TV ad.

Here we are working hard on set! Bonus points if you can spot team Denvir at the start of the ad in the background, we might even have a ‘bold’ prize for you if you tag us on social. (T&Cs apply )

We created this ad as part of a fully integrated campaign to support the launch of Macb’s new sparkling cans available at ASDA stores and we can’t wait to see the results and your reaction.
